Who would believe a March snowstorm in Maryland? Well, it happened. And the "Spring" Track meet went on!

Our Distinguished Young Woman

Can you say BIG deal? The Distinguished Young Women Program gives exemplary young ladies a chance to learn worthwhile life skills, gain confidence, and earn scholarships. Once accepted into he program, the girls participate in an interview, fitness routine, talent demonstration and self expression exercise. A lot of hard work is involved in preparing for the event, and it was a great experience.

Hello Virginia MoPro!

Road trip! The highlight of our month was visiting dear friends in Yorktown Virginia where Megan attended their MoPro. It was a whirlwind trip with a snow storm chasing us back on our way home, but the fabulous memories were worth the sleep deprivation!

(Megan and I had a good laugh when, after curling her hair to perfections, I mistook shaving cream for hairspray. Oh, the hazards of having a sight-challenged mom!)
